This program is experiential and interactive, designed to engage discussion about books that focus us to reflect and grow. The curated selection of authors will be uplifting and positive in nature.

Lean in for Connection is a program designed to teach participants strategies for developing connection, navigating difficult interactions, and building healthy community. Drawing from Traumatic Loneliness and Feel Heard & Understood exercises, participants explore ways to connect using the work of Brene Brown’s on shame, love & belonging; Dr. Daniel Fisher’s work on Emotional CPR, Dr. Rosenberg’s Non-Violent Communication and many other skills.

Togetherall clinically moderated, 24/7, anonymous, online peer-to-peer mental health community and self-help tools. It harnesses the protective and therapeutic effects of connectedness and healthy social networks in its unique community where people share with, and support each other. Innovative technology, and first class clinical teams and trained moderators, create a unique environment for members to lead their own recovery.

The Sexual Misconduct Response Centre (SMRC) and Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) have launched an online peer support discussion platform for current and former Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members and DND public service employees who experienced sexual misconduct as well as their families as part of the Military Sexual Trauma (MST) Peer Support Program.

Buddy Check Coffee is a Veteran run peer program offering comradeship in a relaxed environment, encouraging Veterans to network and share experiences and stories… while sipping coffee. Led by the Legion’s Operational Stress Injury Special Section (Legion OSI) and hosted by Legion members, Buddy Check Coffee is helping Veterans in their community connect and support each other
