Womens Warrior Healing Garden offers a variety of research-informed therapeutic programs in curated safe spaces. Programming includes peer support, peer support training and individual and group therapeutic activities.

Therapeutic activities can help cope with and overcome anxiety, PTSD and other effects of trauma. They are supervised by registered psychotherapists or social workers and peer supporters.

Veterans Farm Project was created to give women veterans the experience of nature through horticulture programs. We aim to maximize a veteran’s physical, psychological, and social strength as well as enhance general health and well-being. Participants can access all 6 acres of the property and take part in any activity that brings them joy or challenges their skills and knowledge. The farm is accessible to those with physical disabilities or challenges and there are specific areas that aid in helping mental health injuries. Some of the programs offered at the farm include farm stands, workshops, archery, yoga, reike, and more.

Our alumni are welcome to take advantage of free refresher stays anytime to reconnect, regroup, and reground with staff and peers. The Refresher Weekend Program participants are encouraged to attend large group activities and share their stories as a way of giving back.

The Occupational Trauma Program is designed for women requiring intensive therapy for trauma(s) sustained on the job as first responders, military personnel, and veterans. This program involves intensive medical, psychiatric, and psychological care 1-on-1 with counsellors and in groups. Therapies in our trauma program are designed to help you build self regulation skills to deal with dissociation, anxiety, depression, anger, and other symptoms of trauma. These therapies are also designed to help you make sense of your suffering and pain so you can go forward in pursuit of a meaningful life.

The Aulmni Support Meetings offers weekly and bi-weekly support meetings are available across Canada as a way to connect alumni with one another and let them re-experience the power of the peer group. These meetings are facilitated by counsellors and recovery coaches.
