Unlimited liability: why veteran and family needs transcend elections and politics
Our Veterans should never have to wonder whether a change in government will affect their access to critical resources. The crux of this argument is rooted in the concept of unlimited liability, which means that soldiers do not have the option to refuse being ordered or having to order others into harm’s way while performing their duties. The implicit understanding is that, after transitioning to post-service life, Canadians therefore have a responsibility to support Veterans for whatever care needs they have as a result of this service.
