Veterans Transition Network offers a 5 day, in-person, retreat-based workshop assists with transition skills and the challenges of COVID-19.

Womens Warrior Healing Garden offers a variety of research-informed therapeutic programs in curated safe spaces. Programming includes peer support, peer support training and individual and group therapeutic activities.

Therapeutic activities can help cope with and overcome anxiety, PTSD and other effects of trauma. They are supervised by registered psychotherapists or social workers and peer supporters.

Wings of Change’s Peer Support Program offers solution-based discussion and education regarding any work-related trauma and mental health challenge. These informal meetings are facilitated by peers experiencing similiar concerns with traumatic calls/events and who are interested in sharing suggestions on how to maintain or improve mental health. We always refrain from “trauma talk” as this may be a trigger to some participants and is best discussed with professional healthcare providers.

Before Operational Stress (BOS) is a group-based intervention program designed for any individual who has been or is likely to be exposed to operational stress and potentially psychologically traumatic events.

Wayfinders Wellness Retreat is a safe space for military and first responders suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and their families. We believe in a well-balanced life and understand the importance of mental, emotional, and spiritual, and physical health. Come experience all areas of wellness through nature-based programs and open-minded community centred support.

Veterans Farm Project was created to give women veterans the experience of nature through horticulture programs. We aim to maximize a veteran’s physical, psychological, and social strength as well as enhance general health and well-being. Participants can access all 6 acres of the property and take part in any activity that brings them joy or challenges their skills and knowledge. The farm is accessible to those with physical disabilities or challenges and there are specific areas that aid in helping mental health injuries. Some of the programs offered at the farm include farm stands, workshops, archery, yoga, reike, and more.

Personal Growth Book Club is a program designed to share our experience of learning and growing through the richness of books. This program is experiential and interactive, designed to engage discussion about books that focus us to reflect and grow. The curated selection of authors will be uplifting and positive in nature.

Lean in for Connection is a program designed to teach participants strategies for developing connection, navigating difficult interactions, and building healthy community. Drawing from Traumatic Loneliness and Feel Heard & Understood exercises, participants explore ways to connect using the work of Brene Brown’s on shame, love & belonging; Dr. Daniel Fisher’s work on Emotional CPR, Dr. Rosenberg’s Non-Violent Communication and many other skills.
