RIVER VALLEY RESILIENCE RETREAT (RVRR) is a registered non-profit organization located near Prince Albert, Saskatchewan that provides a retreat environment, peer support and assistance to Public Safety Personnel (PSP), Armed Forces and Veterans with operational stress injuries.

The Support for Operational Stress Injury program provides peer support to all employees of the RCMP, regardless of rank or category of employee, as well as RCMP veterans and retired employees. SOSI Coordinators and Peer Supporter volunteers offer non-clinical assistance and support based on shared experience and specific OSI training that they have received. Our peer support network can connect you to a supportive community of people with similar experiences and resources to help.
La Vigile is recognized as a specialized resource for helping professionals who wear or wore uniforms (peace officers, correctional officers, veterans, military, paramedics, firefighters, 911 dispatchers), people in the assistance and care (nurses, doctors, psychologists, social workers and stakeholders of all kinds) as well as to their family members. Although Maison La Vigile offers services to people who wear the uniform, they are also offered to all citizens. We offer services with or without accommodation, either the dependency program or the respite program at Maison La Vigile, as well as an employee assistance program for Vigilante individuals (PAPV) for external service. A listening and referral line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All requests are treated with discretion and confidentiality.
Operational Stress Injury Social Support (OSISS) provides a national peer support network for Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, and their families who are experiencing an operational stress injury (OSI).
Veterans Transition Network offers Veteran-to-Veteran peer support
service, provided by phone or secure video-chat. Training and coaching for peer supporters is led by VTN clinicians
Wayfinders Wellness Retreat is a safe space for military and first responders suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and their families. We believe in a well-balanced life and understand the importance of mental, emotional, and spiritual, and physical health. Come experience all areas of wellness through nature-based programs and open-minded community centred support.
Veterans Emergency Transition Services (VETS) Canada exists solely to help our Canadian veterans. Whatever the need, you can reach out to us in confidence, and we’ll do what it takes to help.
Our alumni are welcome to take advantage of free refresher stays anytime to reconnect, regroup, and reground with staff and peers. The Refresher Weekend Program participants are encouraged to attend large group activities and share their stories as a way of giving back.
The Recovery Coaching offers coaching in over a dozen Canadian cities to help alumni stay active and engaged in their personal recovery. Returning home after treatment can be difficult for many clients and we want to be there for them.
